Bolshoi acid attack: Dmitrichenko guilty over acid attack

A Russian court has convicted Bolshoi ballet soloist Pavel Dmitrichenko and two co-defendants over an acid attack on the company's artistic director.

Sulphuric acid was thrown at Bolshoi artistic director Sergei Filin, 43, outside his Moscow flat in January, badly damaging his eyesight.

Dmitrichenko had admitted he wanted Mr Filin "roughed up" but had not intended to have acid thrown into his face.
