The best of Messut Ozil has yet to be seen claims Arsenal team mate

Arsenal centre back Per Mertesacker has expressed his undying faith in his compatriot Mesut Ozil’s abilities, saying that the German will soon hit top form and prove to be one of the best players for the club.
Mertesacker was quoted saying: “He’s in good form – and I think we will see more from him. He gets himself into good positions so the goals will come for sure.”
The German has also maintained that Ozil is a constant threat for the opposition in their half of the pitch and it is very difficult to defend against his lethal playing style. Mertesacker also pointed out that the player always creates chances for his teammates and looks to bring others into the game – a talent which can go a long way in helping the club lay its hands upon trophies this season.
The 25 year old had a reasonably decent start to his career at England after his high profile move from Real Madrid this summer, scoring goals and assisting a few more. However, since the last 8 games, Ozil has failed to find the back of the net, thus giving rise to concerns over his form.
